I find it odd that anyone ever doubted them. IMO, they've proven to be a highly competent band the whole time. It was definitely a good move to add Cassy to the lineup for the arena shows, though.

Prince knows what he's doing. Among the general public, this band is quite high profile now. This is what he wants in 2014. I love their sound personally. I'd like to hear a 2014 version of 'Computer Blue' by 3EG, i think they'd smash it.

exactly, imho, already more popular than any version of the NPG, which i personally never really liked sans John Blackwell and Cassie..I tolerated Mr Hayes, Barberella on boards but to me, they just didnt have it...I knew Cassie had it when i heard them do Dance for Me on canal France TV show in Paris. She dropped that keyboard bassline like Bernie Worwell from Funkadelic..I just realized my issue with Morris; call me crazy, but i dont like my board players to be sitting on no bench, chair etc , during the show..He did that allt he time..I deducted points
