* I disagree. The blame belongs squarely in HER lap. That's where it belongs now as well. She's a grown ass woman (40 years of age) still acting like a spoiled rotten child. I didn't act that way as a teen (or even when I was 4 years old for that matter) and I don't act that way now. Most people don't. Her out of control behavior is due to her own selfishness & unwillingness to grow up & be mature. It's not something that's out of her control. She CHOOSES to be the way she is. * Also, she was not a teen when they got married. She was grown. Enabling & making excuses doesn't help anything. * My guess is, Prince prolly got fed up with walking on bloody stumps due to all the broken glass around the house & called it quits. *

I absolutely despise those 'Hollywood Wives'-type reality shows. That's a terrible concept It's disappointing to see Mayte jump on that bandwagon.I understand that she's gotta make a living, but dayum....can't she do something else? Something that's a little more respectable?

* Yep, she's def a classy broad. So, now we can add thief to the list of her wonderful attributes? * Are you saying she's an attention whore & in love with herself? You don't say. * A picture paints a 1,000 words: "Hey everybody, look at meeeeeeeeeee!" Three feet ahead of him & draggin' Prince around. * http://images2.fanpop.com/image/photos/13800000/Prince-and-Mayte-prince-13804181-452-589.jpg * The ugly tatoo on her foot is seriously classy too. * There was more BS (lies) goin' around in the 90s in addition to the princess crap. I wasn't even around in the 90s but have subsequently heard about several years later. I'm sure there's a lot more I don't know about that I prefer not to know about. * Trust me, she knew darn well about all the women. She'd have to have been a total idiot not to. People talk (including the other hoes on the side). Heck, I wasn't even around in the 90s & I knew about all the women hanging around. Why do you think Maytag purposefully got pregnant? She wanted the other hoes out of the way. Simple as that. There's no telling who that kid belonged to. Without a DNA test, we'll never know. It's a legitimate question cuz this chick was desperate to hook him. *

[Edited 5/17/14 11:22am] You are killing me with the Maytag thing LMAO. To be honest, I was a fan of Mayte because of her fashion and dancing and things like that. I think I still am in the end because it doesn't have anything to do with her personality. But this show...this show lmao. If it is scripted like everyone speculates, she should've knew better. I think she doesn't care how her attitude is portrayed by the show or taken in by viewers, her fans or Prince fans. She just wants to make or at least try to make 'Purple Rain Money'. ...No wonder there are more ardent MJ fans...

Purple Rain money. GAG me! Mayte was all of 10 years old (or so) when it came out. PLEASE! * I love how she was caught in the lie regarding the divorce as well. She didn't know about the conversation the 3 ladies had at the table (in episode 2) about the divorce announcement. Sheree even said (in that segment) that Maytag previously shared with some of the ladies how the divorce went down. Sheree mentioned that Prince made an announcement that the marriage was over. In other words, it was his decision. Then, at the end of the show, when she's going on and on and on whining about no child support, Purple Rain money etc. , she gives the impression that she wanted / initiated the divorce NOT KNOWING about (having not seen) the segment where Sheree laid it all out. Sheree was RIGHT ON THE MONEY & Maytag was caught in another big lie. * The show isn't scripted. It is what it is. You can tell on the show when things get really heated that those ladies are not acting. Nicole, Sheree, Drea & Bria etc. were legitimately & seriously angry. Also, you can tell by Maytag's reaction to everything, she's not acting. Some of the most telling parts of some of these segments are not only what Maytag says & does, but the smug, evil look on her face & the wild look in her eyes. It's sinister. Watch the segment again where they're all at that dinner for Drea before the slugout begins. Right after Nicole sits down, you can tell that Nicole is VERY bothered, hurt & angry. Then, just a few seconds after Nicole has been sitting there, Maytag gives this smug, evil, sinister look across the table at Shanna (sticking it to Nicole behind her back). It's like watching a demon right on her face. This was all BEFORE Nicole said, "Hey Mayte, do you have anything say to me?" Watch it again if you didn't catch the evil look. That's the real Maytag. You can see the evil on her face, hear it in her words, see it in her actions & via her eyes. It's scary to watch. * http://blog.vh1.com/2014-...ith-money/ * Maytag loves to hang out all her dirty laundry for all to see. The pathetic thing is, she doesn't even see it as dirty laundry. She's WAY to prideful & contentious to be able to see herself as she really is (from a sane person's perspective). Her mask is coming off so all can see the real deal. * All I know is, God says, "It'll all come out in the wash". I laughed really hard when He spoke those words to me (in my heart) the other day. I wasn't expecting it. Those words came out of nowhere. There's a lot of meaning in those words that I won't go into (double, triple meanings). However, I love God's sense of humor. Think about it. Maytag.

Ran across this early this morning & had to share. * I think Maytag should go back to her pointy bangs. They suited her. * Interesting how Ma * leficent is being released at the end of the month. Is it destiny or fate?

Think she'll adopt another kid now that Mani's knocked up again? We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

Watching Mayte on Ex wives is a trip. She got me with the "I don't have Purple Rain money!" And whose fault is that? I guess her settlement money is gone from the divorce and she doesn't get any monthly stipend from Prince. Hell, it isn't his baby so why should he expect any money from him? Well, in all fairness to her, maybe she doesn't expect his money, but because she doesn't have any of that residual money, she should have thought of that before she adopted her lil crumb snatcher.

Doesn't sound like motherhood is quite what she expected. That's what happens when you try to keep up with the Joneses. (Or in this case, the Manuelas.) We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

Maytag obviously didn't have a clue about what's involved in motherhood, how much it was gonna cost to have a child, the HUGE responsibility (full time) & didn't take into consideration how a child was going to affect her social life. I think she just assumed that her mother was gonna be a full time babysitter & it was all supposed to be fun, giggles & frilly dresses for her kid (dressing her up cute). IMO, it's her fixation on motherhood (for all the wrong reasons) that is driving this whole child / motherhood thing. She could be competing but down deep, I think it's this unhealthy need to feel "fulfilled." Of course, that's obviously NOT the role of a child (to make one feel fulfilled). That's a very selfish reason to try & have one. However, there are a lot of women out there who do the same. The fact that a lot of women are out to lunch & do the same certainly doesn't excuse it. * Anyhow, my gut tells me, this adopted child isn't enough for her. She's still desperate & gonna try to rope, trick or try & talk Ricky Ricardo into having a kid (at least try). If he's not up for that, my best advice for him is to always wear a raincoat cuz I wouldn't trust her as far as I could throw her.
Don't even get me started on the Joker.

Well, in all fairness to her, maybe she doesn't expect his money, but because she doesn't have any of that residual money, she should have thought of that before she adopted her lil crumb snatcher. Yeah, the whole "I don't have Purple Rain money to support me!" rant just made me cringe - First, why is she bringing up child support when the point was reneging last minute on a promise to a friend? That's such a classic passive-aggressive move, which I can't stand. We're talking about one thing ("that wasn't cool to cancel on me last minute") and then when she can't defend herself on that point, she brings in some other random BS/counter-accusation to deflect from the original point. So passive-aggressive. Second, she's implying that she's more of a mother than Sheree. I'm a mom myself, and I've experienced this "competitive motherhood" crap, and it's beyond annoying and sad. You know, the whole mommy wars, tearing each other down, "I'm more of a mother because I breast feed," "I'm more of a mother because I have natural birth," "I'm more of a mother because I've got twins," "I'm more of a mother because I stay at home/have a job," I'm more of a mother because I don't use babysitters or ever go out," etc. F**k that shit! We all have it tough, and in the end the measure of our "success" is all the same - the character of the kids we raise - and that doesn't come easier with more money, in fact it can be harder. Third, it's like she's equating a baby with an income for life or something, and that's what she's sad about. She's jealous of the other women because they got babies, thus they got child support, thus they got all the Gucci bags they could ever want for life... They walked off with all that, "But my baby DIED! I got cut off!" (like, boo hoo I can't afford Gucci bags now! Though somehow, I make sure I set aside enough money for new boobs, twice). I'm sure - I know - that losing a baby is emotionally tragic and it must have been for her too, but her rant about the money just trivializes the tragedy. I don't think she intends or realizes that it comes off that way, but it does. Ugh, I'd be really unnerved if I were Prince hearing that. I'd also cringe if I were him listening to the other ladies cackle and cluck over the marriage, speculating why we divorced, and my reaction to the baby (particularly when Sheree says, "he's got his OWN baby issues"). Ugh. Reality TV is one of the worst forms of "entertainment," and it's especially not a good look for Mayte. She comes off badly every time, including the Tommy Lee one. She ought to stop doing reality TV, unless it's a show where she can manage to come off looking good.

I watch the show because of Drea. She's funny as hell and makes the show IMO. As for Mayte's crazy ass, lawd. I never caught the show with Tommy Lee over 10 years ago when she was engaged to him but did she act loco like this on his show then too? 'Te seems jealous of all the other ex-wives...especially the ones who have moved on with new husbands/and or fiancee's. I don't know what she's waiting for, the only way to get that "Purple Rain" money is by putting that china on E-bay. Waaahaa! I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

But, would it be reality TV if Maytag had to become someone other than herself in order to "come off looking good" or be more palatable? I say, let it rip. Be yourself. That's reality after all. * I'm the kind of person that wants the real deal. I prefer right between the eyes vs sugar coated. If you're evil, just be evil. Be yourself. Don't try & deceive people by pretending to be something you're not in order to "look good". * Maytag comes off badly every time on reality TV because that's her true nature. No matter how much lipstick & makeup you put on a face, it's still the same underneath (in the heart). You may try to cover in an effort to "look good" but at the end of the day, the TRUTH is what it is. You are what you are because of what's in your heart. * Btw, I watch the show because of Drea as well. I think she's a hoot. *

I love Mayte.
Leave her alone. It's a fucking "reality" show.
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
Sure I think Mayte's temper tantrums about fur and not getting child support from her ex is ridiculous, but this part here I didn't agree with at all. No matter how crazy she sounded, at least Mayte told how she really felt to the other ladies and not behind their backs...unlike Sheree who chose to gather a few of the ladies together to discuss her speculation of Mayte & Prince's marriage and Prince's "baby issues". Really? How can she speak on something she doesn't even know first hand about? Hell she doesn't even know Prince...only "I know people who know him"...that's BS. I always have found that women who have the time to speculate and discuss someone else's failed marriage reflects on how insignificant THEIR OWN marriage must be in their lives. I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.
