That's something about that era of the 80s proteges, I love how stuff fit within a certain direction . You can put music from What Time Is It, Vanity 6, 1999 and outtakes on a mixed playlist and tell a story | |

in many ways,the Vanity 6 album was ahead of its time.Musically,it's all over the place.There are a few funk tracks,several New Wave/pop tracks,some electrofunk ("Make Up") and there's even some rap (Brenda on "If A Girl Answers..."),at a time when rap music was still 'new'.

Nasty Girl, If a girl answers, 3x2=6"Bite The Beat" was actually released as a single.It was the fourth and final single from the album,but it received very little airplay (for obvious reasons,lol). | |
