I like it. It kinda reminds me a little bit of Chaka Khan's "Never Miss the Water" from 1996, featuring Me'Shell Ndegeocello. I hope there might be some videos to support the 'ICON' release. | |

I agree. My first thought was, who is the guitar player? At times the guitar reminds me of that Madhouse track with the "what took you so long to call?" sample. Maybe it's Levi? I don't know, but it's a good song. Sheila's vocals are perfect. | |

with all the inspiring shows in the last 2 years especially since she's reunited with Eddie M and doing songs like Koo Koo, Erotic City, the Belle of St Mark, Olivers House, Pop Life, America . I would have hoped like (FDelux) she pulled from that inspiration. This new album does nothing, the Time/O7, the Family/FDelux, KILLS Sheila's album . She should have created this album with lots of Eddie M, so of her Romance 1600 band members, the Revolution etc etc | |

Prince forgave Andre Cymone and gave him "Dance Electric" when he saw that his solo career flopped. So Prince being in a more spiritual place now can do the same for Miss E. Noone even knows she has a project out... will ALWAYS think of like a "ACT OF GOD"! well he gave her Leader of the Band, that's on the album. Dance Electric in 1985 vs Leader of the Band in 2013 won't have the same effect.

True! But don't count Prince out yet. U peeps here always try to make Prince a has been! The only reason Prince doesn't have a "hit" record is because he is not signed to a major record label, who are tied too radio airplay, that play the same tired songs all day long & don't make room for artist like Prince... will ALWAYS think of like a "ACT OF GOD"!
