It sounds like something she may have said, in which case I am sure she did destroy many items of "memoribilia" that she had access to. However, over the past 2 years (and again last Thursday) I helped to consolidate her storages into one storage, and she tells me other friends are holding other items for her.

She is genuinely surprised at what she finds as she opens each box; and each item she finds has a story, which she shares with me and my boys (her nephews) as we help.

She has also immediately destroyed items in front of me.

Thank You for the support. Denise's health is always a concern of mine. I would ask that people remember her in a prayer, first, before having anyone purchase any item.

I once tried to stop her, and told her to just give it to me but she threw the 2nd Commandment at me (Idol Worship).

The boys and I turn down her many offers to take the things she has gotten rid of, and

she has given me a number of items, but it has been only recently that she has begin to sign them.

I'm not trying to down her! But those items are her legacy! She was a successful artist, movie star, and sex symbol. She opened doors for Madonna & even Beyonce. I know she needs the money. But it has to be some other way for her. Then to part with all those beautiful things she has..

I can understand that! I had a friend that was on dialysis and it does drain U out. So I do understand, what she is going through. I will keep her in my prayers...She has been through a lot! But she doesn't seem to let it keep her down. She is a miracle!

Having been regarded as a "Sex Symbol" (i.e. "Idol") was been her argument when she explained why she could not keep the items or give them it to me, and I had intention to argue an issue that was a matter of conscience and faith.

Has anything changed since that time or is it just that certain items that trouble her more than others, I really could not tell you.

In may opinion - I doubt she thinks that, as a sex symbol, that she actually took glory from God, but rather that she was a tool used to distracted others.

I honestly believe that because she has lived as long as she has without kidneys, it is a witness of her faith, and now her decadent life as Vanity, near death, survival and re-birth can act as a testimony to other.

Ironically, I was raised as a Jehovah's Witness (inactivie for many years), so over the past 20 years Denise and I have had very deep religous decussions. Denise is committed to her faith. We don't share the same beliefs but I can see the affects that her strong faith and in putting the Lord first in her life has done for her; so I am just grateful and thankful.

With regard to history, I am certain a bustier or two can and will be located for the Prince wing of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
