Great list bashraka! I didn't include things like 7 because I'm pretty sure that's all worked out (except for the brief solo section), but holy flaming tenor that track is amazing. I'm pretty sure except for in the background of UTCM I've never heard junk music. Wasn't aware it was circulating. Always loved those flute flouished in Gett Off too, nice pick. Had forgotten all about them! Remember Eric playing Flute on Dinner With Delores during one of those TV appearances (Letterman maybe?). Take it - like Clarence said:

Honestly, I was going by the snippet from "Under The Cherry Moon". Eric's playing gave me goosebumps. I don't know if it is circulating or not. 3121 #1 THIS YEAR

Which scene is it in again? Take it - like Clarence said:

It's the scene where Mary and Christopher have a car race and it climaxes with the two making love to each other near the beach. 3121 #1 THIS YEAR

I like His solo in "Little Rock" off His project "Times Squared". And- if U listen closely, U'll hear Prince in the background towards the end..........

Great thread. I love Leeds, I think he's the best musician that has worked with Prince. Looking forward to the two new albums with fDeluxe. [Edited 10/20/13 22:50pm] [Edited 10/20/13 22:50pm]

Definitely the 12" of Mountains makes the list. And I also agree with the comments about his flute licks on "Gett Off." It's amazing to me how much those little trills are an integral part of that song. Interestingly, as much as I adore Eric, I'm sitting here having difficulty remembering the solos in specific songs...I mean, I know which songs he plays on, but when it comes to solos I'll have to listen to them again. Which is an exciting thing, because any Prince song with Eric on it is just pure bliss to me. I really like his solo albums too...the tracks that stick out to me (without going back and listening to them, which I will be doing!) are "Soldier's Things" from Things Left Unsaid, and "The Dopamine Rush" from Times Squared. No confusion, no tears. No enemies, no fear. No sorrow, no pain. No ball, no chain.

It's crazy no one even mentioned N.E.W.S. yet, Eric's performances there, particularly these hysterical solos on East, are probably among the best things he ever produced. His third (and last to this day) solo album, Now & Again, is also really cool, much better than Things Left Unsaid IMHO. Only the snippet from UTCM. I still hope the full The Flesh album will leak one of these days, since it's in some lucky people's hands A COMPREHENSIVE PRINCE DISCOGRAPHY (work in progress ^^): https://sites.google.com/...scography/

Y'know, I'll have to pull out my copy of N.E.W.S. and give it another listen. It's one of those albums that just never grabbed me...but that was when I was listening to it more for Prince than for Eric. Thanks for the suggestion. No confusion, no tears. No enemies, no fear. No sorrow, no pain. No ball, no chain.

Sorry, RODMANN... that's Eddie M you're speaking of on JJ's ESOL album (he still plays on JJ's new stuff). Eddie M plays Alto Sax. Eric Leeds plays mainly Tenor Sax, along with Baritone Sax and Flute.
