It's unusual for a ballerina to get so much media attention. Hooking up with Prince was obviously a smart move (which is equally unusual
I definitely don't mind seeing pro dancers getting to be in the spotlight. They are true athletes and artists yet never get the same attention as actors or singers. Or sport athletes.

Misty. She's nice looking and being the first African American female soloist for the ABT makes her one of a kind. She's a dime a dozen on the arm of Prince but it was a smart move for her to take advantage of the exposure she got performing and going out with Prince. Good for her to quickly get away from him and the drfunkenberry foolishness and get herself a commercial with Dr. Pepper. I first saw her in the Crimson & Clover video. It's because of her I stretch like a ballerina in training. I love the way she kicks her leg up in the video. | |

But did she actually acknowledge that she was "going out" with Prince? Her calendar was amazing, she is go flexible, and considering how she started, kudos to her for her success! I mean they became friends and Prince escorted her out to a few events and parties. I believe she was honored at one of the events. She seems very nice and yes Misty does have a lovely speaking voice. | |
