As I said MUCH earlier in this post.. it was a long process for Mayte getting Gia.. they just put things together as if they happened faster for the show..

MAyte is an amazing mom to that little girl. I have been there since day one of her adoption process and have spent alot of time with Mayte and her daughter and she has been amazing. Not too mention how can you not be when little Gia is the cutest sweetest baby. THe whole process was very quick as the mom came to Mayte and told her she cannot keep her baby and wants to give her a better life and thinks Mayte would be an amazing mom. And like that the adoption happened. Keep watching this season as everything works itself out for all the girls. THey are a great group of women who all have their own story,but yet all have similar stories.

So please don't doubt the legitimacy of this adoption. Mayte and her family love that little girl just as much as if she gave birth to her herself.

Yes, they DO love Gia alot.. but the whole process from when the Mom approached Mayte to the acutal Legal END of the adoption DID take a while..

Actually, if you want my honest opinion, theres something not quite right!! I honestly beleive that Mayte has been a mother a lot longer than we know!! Either that or this little girl is the fastest growing child on record!! In some pics of her and Gia it appears that Gia is a baby and then in other pics it shows Gia as a toddler!! Somethings' not right!!

Gia is a toddler, Mayte got her at 9 months....Gia is going to be 2 years old in a couple of months...so Mayte has basically had Gia from 9 months to now...what is so wrong about that? The reality show taped months ago, they don't air it live. WIth babies, between 1 and 2 they grow alot. Gia is getting bigger every day. So everything is very right....GIa is a healthy young baby girl who has grown into a toddler. She is still amazing and gets more amazing as the days go on. So there is nothing to be confused about, everything has never been more right.

Mayte actually met up with Gia and her Birth Mom before she even adopted her.. so some of the pictures U see MAYBE from earlier in Gia's life when her and Mayte were just getting to know each other.. It did take a while from the very first contact to the actual close of adoption

No. MeltedMan is Mayte's friend Dave Buchansky or whatever his name is. He seems to be a diehard Prince fan also as he reads the org all the time and posts on Maytes behalf. Thats one way to look at it and I would agree if it werent for the obvious emotional attachment she still exudes in her interviews and on her social medias. Im not being a dick, Im just observing what I've seen and heard. It would probably be hard to get over a superstar like Prince anyway especially if you were so young and he was her first. There is a side to it thats understandable, but also there is a side that I find needy and unresolved. With Prince's track record I doubt he gave Mayte real closure but who knows. To me and to 99% of people watching she still seems like she hasn't gotten over Prince.
