VANITY--who really found her? Does anyone know when she started blowin' smoke with Rick?

It was a 1979 or 1980 Music award show. Nasty girl and all that came out in the summer of 82. The album was out longer then people think, because believe it or not he's so dull was the first single and it didn't do anything. | |

You all still kickin around those media planted lies.She followed Rick around like a puppy then Prince to get to someone else. Vanity was married to some guy that could pass for Prince's twin. He lived in Japan and she wanted to be a star. The truth is much wilder then the fiction you all have been spoon feed for years. sorry if that was over your head...jump up and try to catch the point next time. | |

She was married to this guy very young as a way to leave Canada to be a star. You know the line stick with me honey and I will make you a star. Well he wanted her to do porn movies. She left him when she was 17. And latched herself to any man that could help her be a star. No matter if he had a woman she would not leave the picture until she got what she wanted. Rick made her promises he had no intentions of keeping. She went on his tour with him you know the one with Teena Marie and with Prince with him.That was in 1979. So don't believe everythang you read. Vanity left her husband so fast she did get a divorce.She made it to LA where she soon earned a very bad reputation for liking the casting couch a little too much. sorry if that was over your head...jump up and try to catch the point next time. | |

Why doesn't someone just email Denise herself? I've emailed her assistant and they do respond quickly. She might be as concerned with "VANITY" stuff anymore but all of this sounds like rumor. Take it to the source.

In Playboy 79 they mention her as oe of their picks of an up and comming star--- in reference to gorilla movie. There's no mention of Rick etc. My point is Playboy first took notice of her "atributes". | |
