Great, thanks for the heads up! I'll most likely will go to the Amsterdam gig.

Any word on the band? Will it be featuring NPG members?

How many people will be going based on that assumption??

She probably has her own band up and going by now, or could be just her and her guitar.

she hinted at some special guests soo maybe he'll be there. i have a feeling as with her other performances of late that he'll stop by and support but probably not take the stage especially since he'll be in europe around then too

I just got a physical copy of SUPERCONDUCTOR from Amazon.com and I'm really liking this album! I want 2 get 2 these European dates, but that's probably 1 of the most xpensive weekends 2 head 2 Europe and who knows how big or small the shows will be (like she might do 10 trax acoustically, or perhaps 20 trax with a full band).

SUPERCONDUCTOR comes in a Digipak and it's a gold CD:

I wish Spain would be included in this European tour! Too much to wish for, I guess...

Strange that the advertising is the artwork of the Unfresh album, and not of Superconductor. Could it be due to her last album being published in NPG Records?

Just noticed that Amsterdam is labelled as "acoustic", so no band I guess.

It is sold out anyway, so I am not going anymore I suppose...

Thanks for the interview link. She seems lovely. I am glad she is doing more acoustic, that suits her so much better than getting drowned out by a big band.

It looks like Andy is moving on from her Prince days: her website has been reworked and she has a new demo "Pharaoh" http://m.soundcloud.com/a...araoh-demo

This is good to hear. I didn't want her to diaapear like Bria.

The Amsterdam concert was very, very good.

She created a fantastic intimitate atmosphere.

I think a lot of people were there because the hoped that Prince would show up on stage. Andy made all these people leave the venue with a smile on their face and loving her.

She was great and captured the audiance with an acoustic concert for a solid 2 hours (?)

99% of my posts are ironic. Maybe this post sides with the other 1%.

the show was excellent. music was really good, intimate, funky at times... and she looked beautiful.

after the show she took the time to really meet people, talk to them and sign CD's and that was fantastic.

great GREAT night.

yes SIR!

I wonder why she played so very little while she was on stage with Prince. I mean, she can obviously sing and play and give concerts on her own, but while she was in Prince´s band, she was barely audible.

But good for her that the Paradiso show was a success and she has her own thing going on.

Weird, but I sense a lot of Prince influence still - the whole "pharaoh" thing, Spanish, and "one step closer to god." Was there any indication that she was interested in Ancient Egypt, Spanish, and god prior to prince, 'cause these are princely obsessions.
But I do think it's better for her to return to the pared down acoustic style - that's her style, it's more believable for her.

Tonight (Saturday, 21:25 CET channel N3) the NTR broadcasts a NSJ report, with among others the GCS footage. In a preview of some 10 seconds they played Prince from last night.
