No. This annoying "oh oh oh" is by far the most stupid thing Prince ever recorded. And Tony is not even on it. Tony's raps on Willing & Able and Sexy MF are fine with me.

I know i'm in the total minority but I loved Gold Nigga
And Tony M on Gett Off is worth his inclusion in the band

But then we wouldn't have Deuce & 1/4

Indeed. He's got a few clunkers, but I think most of the shit Tony gets is directly related to being on bad songs that Prince wrote.

On that we do agree.
But as Nouveau Dance said no Tony M means not Deuce and a Quarter which is funky as hell.
I always wondered what Gold Nigga would sound like Instrumental..... Also what where the outtakes?

Tony did his job. Did Prince ever need a rapper all over his albums, though? Probably not. Had he used Tony more sparingly, I think public reaction to him would not have been so bad. Tony, Rosie and Prince, even in his more recent rap records, use a rap style straight out of this song.
That was record was H-U-G-E back in the day on black radio stations and I think it's an influence on Prince. But if you think of Tony, Damon, Kirk and Prince, as throwback rappers to hip-hop's orgin point, then they are a lot more tolerable. Of course Prince went on to make "U Make My Sunshine" with Angie B from that song, who was also married to D'Angelo.
