I really love Andy Allo cool. And that acoustic version of Yellow Gold is AMAZING! The new song is cool too!

I give her props for getting out there and performing acoustic - alone - this is where her true talent shines imho

She really shines in the singer/songwriter style. And her vocal style is perfectly fit for these acoustic numbers.

As others have said, props to her for going out there on her own, showing that she's not some puppet protege, but a real deal artist on her own. Shame Prince did not have the same mechanisms at hand/in place to promote her the way past proteges had been promoted.

Andy is doing well not depending on anyone, and using social media and the other tools of independent artists.

She would have never got airplay if she would not be associated with Prince.



If she wanted to be marketed, she should have signed up with a major record company.

She is working hard, and if she shows talent and quality, she'll get picked up.


I think she would get more airplay from female radio dj's, though.

Macho radio guys might not relate to her sound.


She will succeed.

She sticks to her guns and doesn't adjust for mediocre taste of the majority.


That will get picked up.

99% of my posts are ironic. Maybe this post sides with the other 1%.
