On "Gangster Glam", Tony M states "were about to get funkier than a sack of Gran Daddys". For the longest time I couldn't figure out what the hell he meant by that. Then on one of the Npg shows (I believe the one with Salome' hosting) she says "Funkier than a sack of GranPappys". So which one is it. Granted Daddy and Pappy both have the same meaning. I was told they are kind of a White Castle type of hamburger from the Minneapolis area. Has anybody ever had a Daddy or Pappy hamburger? Needless to say writing probably one of the goofiest threads of all time, it's made me quite hungry for a sack of Gran Daddies or Grand patties. These are the kinda of hard hitting questions that Prince fans really want to know

I thought it referenced granddaddy longleg spiders...at least I think they're a type of spider. Nonetheless, I'll bet a sack of them would be pretty funky. Of course, I could be wrong entirely.

Sorry my man. I was at a afterparty back in 2001 in Detroit and I was hanging out in the DJ Booth because I knew the dude who was DJing for Prince at the time. All of sudden out of nowhere Prince appeared. He really didnt say that much but he was really friendly to me and said Hi ! I was just about to ask him this very same dumb question but the Dj booth all a sudden got swarmed by a lot of people. Prince jetted and some woman grabbed his ass about few feet away from me. I think he even posted about the ass grabbing incident a few days later on the NPGMC site.
