a three-picture deal with Twentieth- Century Fox? I wonder what happened with that deal? I know that Morris appeared in a couple of films in the 80s,but never a huge starring role.

I remember him in the Adventures of Ford Fairlane. Was that one of the 3 movies?

I'm not familiar with that movie, but Morris was in a Richard Pryor movie called Moving. If you have Bounce TV, they might be showing it right now. You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

That 3 picture deal was probably some hype to build up his profile. He never had a leading role after Purple Rain. Musically he did his thing though and he did have a short lived TV show(can't recall the anme though). When go 2 a Prince concert or related event it's all up in the house but when log onto this site and the miasma of bitchiness is completely overwhelming!

It was called New Attitude. Morris was in another show with James Avery (Amen/Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air) called Heart and Soul. He also guest starred on some other programs.
