Morris has his Day! Rolling Stone 1985 I didn't know about a feud between MD and Pepe. Intresting when your "friends" come into some cash!!!

I wonder what happened with that deal? I know that Morris appeared in a couple of films in the 80s,but never a huge starring role.I remember him in the Adventures of Ford Fairlane. Was that one of the 3 movies? | |

I'm not familiar with that movie, but Morris was in a Richard Pryor movie called Moving. If you have Bounce TV, they might be showing it right now. You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. That 3 picture deal was probably some hype to build up his profile. He never had a leading role after Purple Rain. Musically he did his thing though and he did have a short lived TV show(can't recall the anme though). When  go 2 a Prince concert or related event it's all  up in the house but when log onto this site and the miasma of bitchiness is completely overwhelming! | |

It was called New Attitude. Morris was in another show with James Avery (Amen/Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air) called Heart and Soul. He also guest starred on some other programs.
