What the heck does that even mean? Maybe her black girl is showing fa sho, and she just can't dance. How about that?
GP you realise your comment is inappropriate? Prince I will always miss and love U.

You too, huh? That was the vibe I got from day one. I'm waiting for Lil' Kim and Biggie to come out with Lil' Cease.

GP you realise your comment is inappropriate? Who are you that you think you can set the grounds for what is and is not appropriate to say? With every other thread obsessively dissing Andy Allo and Prince? Shut it.

artist76 said: Ditto all the comments that (1) she looks like a guest in her own video (Ida and the horns look like they own this more than her), (2) that the styling doesn't suit her (maybe something like Alicia Keys' outfit in Woman's Worth video, more natural not so heavy but still funky and cool), and (3) that her "dance" movements (arms at the beginning, especially) don't look crisp like a dancer, or even like Prince back in the day.
Also, LOL at the "dance" video posted by goldenparachute - but Golden, that's not her "white girl" showing, that's just being a lame dancer. I'm reminded that Mayte was the best dancer P ever had on stage with him - way way better than Damaris who is black, and supposedly learned dance at a performing arts school. And besides Mayte (I dont know if you consider a puerto rican "white"), there are countless badass white dancers who dance "street" styles amazingly well. AA is simply not top-notch at anything that she supposedly does. Except maybe she's quite good at modeling for ads, but not high fashion modeling. It's an expression. Edit: skipping the shananigans. No I dont consider Mayte "white". Shes puerto rican, i.e. Latino. [Edited 11/14/12 1:57am]

Cat's cool in my book as well. I wish Prince could get rid of all his lousy dancers for good and actually hire professional, great dancers and spend more time improving the visual part of the show. I mean come on, if some fans think Mayte is the most decent dancer P's ever had what does that say about Prince as a director/creator of his own shows ? [Edited 11/12/12 23:44pm] I agree. I always thought Prince should hire another Mayte, Genesia or Carmen. I thought Damaris danced crooked and lanky also. Someone said that she studied dance but that confuses me because she is not good either. She is just as goofy looking as Andy on stage. The Mayte era of dancers was by far my favorite.
