We're very excited to share the release date for Superconductor! November 20th 2011, it will be available for purchase at the Allo Evolution Online Store (link TBA).

The only form I will accept for purchase will be physical CD or vinyl. I don't play mp3s on my home stereo, nor will I ever.

Even if it's WAV files on a USB stick, I'd prefer a finished product.

Same goes for any new Prince albums.

In case you think that I'm just being stubborn, I'm a musician with a highly sensitive ear, and can make any mix sound better. I've consulted in digital audio for over 12 years, and know all of the codecs, sampling rates, bit depths, etc.

Prince always seems to release new albums with a built in excuse for why it didn't sell.

What a mess....i really don't know what's so hard to release an album right with the right promotion. It's unbelievable how they keep messing things up in the Prince world. You would think after all that experience, they know what they're doing.

I know it's just a date, but come one now, you send people an email to inform them about the release date and you give them the wrong one?

First they give a releasedate where nothing happens, a website that's not working, and now another wrong reease date....come on people, how hard can it be???

What Andy? like you and all but maybe the reason we all thought sept 20 was the release date is because it had been posted on your website for ages - this from an interview at ebony.com where she is blaming Ledisi for letting everyone think the date was in sept

AA: We just secured a release date: November 20th 2012. The record will be sold on the Allo Evolution Online Store. “People Pleaser” will be coming out; that will be available. What had happened was (she says chuckling) Ledisi is such a great friend and such a beautiful artist. She visited us here at Paisley Park and listened to some of the music from the record. She listened to Superconductor. She loved it. She was so excited. So, I think the next day she posted online how she had listened to the songs and absolutely loved them. She said, at the end of her post, “It’s coming out September 20.”

Of course I'm looking forward to the album but these stupid amateur fuckups are starting to grate....

The logo is starting to look appropriate....u can see a big 'FU' in it re: fuck-up
