People Pleaser is set to be released as a single on the French edition of Amazon on October 16. I hope this means the album's going to be released soon.

Ok, this is mega revolutionary distribution that she's been talking about. Specially coming from amazon in France, I am sure Bonaparte would be very proud of that.

She has still no deal with a music label?! Nobody other than Prince thinks she can sell records with THAt revolutionary vocal capability? I think she should audition for Simon Cowell for the next "Talent Show", MAYBE she'll have a chance, I don't know!

Just as a digital single mp3 format though. I don't get why P and Andy are releasing their stuff in Europe right now there hasn't been any promotion for RnR love affair or People Pleaser whatsoever over there right? They're doing Jimmy Kimmel next week so that'd be a good time to release their new singles in the US.

I'd think that's cause nobody wants to hear them. So one might have to try different markets for those gems.

Yea I get the sense P feels like he gets more love in Europe which is why he did an extensive tour there and released recent CDs, singles there instead of in the US. I remember him saying in an interview once that he found the American market too constraining or something to that effect.

I just read an article yesterday about the millions record companies spend on promoting new artists. I haven't been keeping up with Andy Allo news so much. Does she actually have a company backing her? If it's just Prince and his company, no wonder there hasn't been too much promotion. The article noted that "freebies" are important also, i.e., free downloads of singles or professionaly shot videos on Youtube. I thought that was interesting.

That being said, I like the music on People Pleaser, but not Andy's voice with it. She has a weird accent on the end of her words that doesn't mesh with this type of music. Like everyone else has said, acoustic coffeehouse music is more her thing. The whole thing comes off as disingenuous.

I'm not impressed, watered down.
