I dug these guys when they were together...their 3 CDs were great. Saw on the org calendar that they are reuniting for a concert soon, so I went to their web site to check it out. Realized that they recently (February) put up an entire concert for free download. Anyone interested in the band should check it out!

Dammit, dammit, dammit!!! I wish I could go to this! Unfortunately, live in another country now so that would be kind of long trip. It's weird, because I was just thinking about Greazy Meal about two weeks ago, and I just got the feeling that they would be doing a show together again soon. Reunion, or whatever. The feeling was so strong, that I was going to look into it further because I'll be back in Mpls. at the end of April and into May. Too bad this show is this weekend, and not later.

Yeah...Greazy Meal was a great band. Their studio albums were very good, IMHO. Although, the first release was by far the best. I was working at the San Antonio Express-News (newspaper) when it was coming out, and just for fun I went to their website and found an e-mail link for Tommy B. I sent him a message and asked about if they would have a distribution deal, if the CD might be available way down south in TX, etc. To my surprise, he not only wrote me back but sent me a copy of Visualize World Greaze! I must have gotten on their press release list, too, because when Digitalize World Greaze came out, I was sent a copy of that, too. I bought "Gravy" off their website when it came out.

I'm gonna go down there and check it out!
