so online radiostation iheartradio is now debuting a new PRINCE song called "RNR Affair",

every hour on the hour.

(U.S. only for now, it seems since the stream works online for US residents, sadly)

but wtf!? she's releasing her album in 3 days and tho we haven't heard from prince in

over a year NOW is when he ships a new tune to radio?

talk about stealing someone's thunder.

finally, a post-80s modernR&B/funk/dance album that interests me...

I do.

People Pleaser is a great track. Hopefully it's indicative of the rest of the album, if so, I'm buying it.

The album cover is cool. The girl is cute as hell, Prince wrote and produced so there is a lot going for it.

Thats pretty silly, espcially since Prince's lyrics this past decade are mostly cliched crap. One of the reasons I don't listen to Lotusflower, because despite the awesome guitar, the lyrics there are mostly flat out awful.

Being a graphic designer/marketing professional, I think the packaging for her new album is cool, but a little too Star Trek meets cryptic wording for an artist trying to reintroduce herself to a bigger audience. Who is the target market for her music? I think the above photo would resonate with men and women alike instead of what was chosen. I'm also a female guitarist so if I knew nothing of her musical abilities, I would probably buy her CD if it featured this as a cover photo. I think men would appreciate seeing a beautiful girl holding a guitar as well. Lastly, you want her name to be known, so hiding it in an indistinguishable logo is just poor. A simple, yet elegant script font in concert with the photo would generate greater interest than the current packaging. Bad marketing. Sometimes, I wonder if Prince is secretly trying sabotage his own protegee's projects so that he can keep "dangling the carrot" and keep them around until he gets bored and decides to move on.

Awful, poorly executed idea and visual concept. No one really knows who she is and this is what is being presented? It looks like a logo for some boring mid-west electronics company named LL FROM THE 70's. It is boring and nondescript, but, then again may be a good reflection of her artistic abilities.

I also believe that the previous visible pages of Andy's site were from an official source. Why would an official design company such as www.lojogroup.com decide to start a fake website while they're doing serious business with other companies, which are represented in their online portofolio. The url clearly showed that the site was in a developing or test state, not ready yet to be used or to sign up, despite that it was online (maybe a technical mistake?). I've seen it happen in the creative business that either a few design- or advertising-companies are approached by a client in order to create a campaign. The client decides which company made the best fitting campaign and then continues to work with that company. In Andy's case it might be possible that a few design agencies were approached such as the Lojo Group.

Andy Allo... where can we buy your album?!? It is the 20th and no news, sites, links whatever. I'm anxious to hear it.

Please, don't pester her!
