I saw Midnight Star in concert a few years ago and they truly KICKED ASS!! It was such a fun and thrilling performance that had the audience on their feet the whole time,except for when they slowed things down on "Slow Jam".They performed all of their jams and they still HAVE IT!! I'd love to see them again.

Yup, Midnight Star still brings it! Caught them a couple years ago in Long Beach opening for a reunited Shalamar. Seemed like they had the larger following of OGs in attendence. Deservingly so -- GREAT performance! I was all stoked to see them again with Morris in LA this year but that show was cancelled. | |

Not at the moment. Jam & Lewis are doing production work with other acts. Jesse left. Maybe he'll return, maybe not. At any rate, Morris Day & The Time never stopped performing. You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton | |
