Way to sabotage your own release: What could possibly be preventing a simple courtesy of updating people with what's happening? Sept 20th been and gone, then Allo was stating a distribution deal that she would let people know about the very next week: both dates have long gone.

I've recently enrolled in a Music Business course and I would imagine that if the Superconductor project was my assessment piece for our marketing subject, I'd surely fail.
There are often hiccups in the marketing and distribution process, that's understandable (although much less likely - or at least obvious - at Prince's level). But so many unrelated issues, opportunities being lost and simple things being neglected (like using the fan list you and your supporters have worked hard to build) is really sad to see.
