Im debating I've been done with Proteges after Rosie Gaines and truth be told from what I've seen and read about her I'm like whatever, but I'm still kinda curious Who's going to give it a listen?

I am still on the fence with her. I liked her Dreamland song w/Blue and I actually liked her cafe performance that she did in San Jose (I think). With her, I find her voice eventually gets on my nerve if I listen to it to much, it's like she is trying to hard to be Neo Soul or something. I can take her in small doses which I guess is not a good thing for an artist

I don't have plans on buying the album when it comes out, unless of course, it is a "masterpiece"

I will buy the album, I've liked the samples I have heard so far.

The problem is, I am doubting more and more each day there will ever be an album to buy.

I find it very hard to go by what people say on here because everyone has different tastes, and I need to make my own decision. Plus, some people on here tend to complain about everything...

I like her voice but I'll wait to see what other people say about it before I buy it.

It's all a matter of whether or not I like her new stuff for myself. I liked the stuff he did before she hooked up with Prince, but we'll see.

I will support her CD...I got her first CD "Unfresh" and loved it. I think Andy A. definitely has talent. I am just praying that she doesn't get muddled in her collaboration with Prince. I love the dude, but you need to have your own voice when you work with him or you will be locked into Prince oblivion or puratory.

I'll give it a listen. So far it's a meh, but i like to hear the whole songs first. If it's typical of Princes recent work then I'm sure I'll pass on buying it.

I've give it a go...I liked the few tracks I did hear so we'll see! Also looking forward to hearing the Prince influence. Her first album was dope to me.

I don't understand people being picky and gna-gna-gna wondering "oh am I gonna listen to Andy Allo's album or not, I'm not sure, I think I won't but maybe I will?".

WTF are these capricious behaviors, wondering whether one is gonna listen to a 50 minutes-long record they can get for free (since illegal downloading will allow them to get it without spending a buck) or not, as if their bloody time was SO PRECIOUS that they can't do it, and on top of it they need to tell the world on a fan forum? U just listen to the music and u like it or u don't, period. Life is more simple than some people here want to believe, it's not as if u had to spend a week looking for it online 5 hours a day until u find a copy to download for 77 dollars, then have to listen to a 15 CD-set that lasts 20 hours...

+ the fact that Andy Allo already released an album by herself, before meeting with Prince, which is MORE than decent if u're into R&B and hip-hop. U can dislike it, sure, but obviously most people haven't even cared to give it a listen and act as if Andy Allo was a talentless-but-sexy-dancer-made-singer-ou-of-nowhere-who-sleeps-with-Prince à la Carmen Electra. Ridiculous!

And on another hand there is the simple, obvious fact that Andy Allo's new album will contain quite a high input by Prince. Therefore OF COURSE everyone here is going to listen to it, if only for the pleasure of being able to bitch about it on the org afterwards.

I will prob listen to it illegally of course (not immediately cuz it's not that serious), but if it happens to be very good then I would consider buying it (honestly doubt it, but hey, one never knows)

I personally listened to her past stuff and I liked it, not enough for me to buy it tho. but I also knew her from her acting (and she was alright acting wise as well)

But lets face it, her association with Prince is what put her out their to the masses and that's the truth, no matter how anybody tries to sugar coat it.

I recall some of your prior posts on Andy threads and they qualify as 'rants' maybe not as long as the one above but 'rants' nonetheless. You've been quite vocal and colorful in your lack of interest in Andy Allo.

Not really sure for whom the above post is intended for, but yes I have definitely posted on Andy threads b4 but I could be wrong about this, but I don't think that I really ranted about Andy. (Mayte, yes, Andy not really)
