Last night I had dinner with a friend and he introduced me 2 one of his colleagues Tim Keanini.
We are having this long discussion about a variety of topics and during the course of the conversation my friend mentions my studio when Tim states that he was a musician signed to Paisley Park with Tony Lemans. He caught me off guard with that one. 2 make a long story short Tim is one interesting guy. Here is a clip of him and Tony getting ready 4 a tour. He has some really interesting stories about good old Paisley Park.
I love love love Tony's album. David Gamson from Scritti Politti produced most of it and he is one of my favorite producers of all time. I remember trawling YouTube for Tony clips a while back and watching this video at that time. That's awesome that you know the bass player, he must have some cool stories.

Yes he does.
He mentioned that Tony was Sly Stone's nephew. I never knew that.

As Militant said, it was really a brilliant project and I totally agree that Gamson did wonders with both this and SP.
Now u DO realize that u can't just come here and write "He has some really interesting stories about good old Paisley Park" and NOT tell these stories, do u?
So I'm gonna get on my knees, join my hands in a prayer and beg you: pleaaaaaaaaaaaaaase!!!

As always Cap, you're a man of discretion--- in this case frustrating but always respected

I respect ur respect for people's privacy, though.
Personally I think that Prince & Tony LeMans had a falling out over the song, "Higher than High" because of the keyboard riff in the chorus which sounds just like the keyboard chorus riff from "Lovesexy"...
