WHAT A FANTASTIC SHOW!!!

Maceo Parker rocked Pooles Lighthouse!!! He played mostly stuff that I am not 2 familiar with, because mainly I have never really gotten into his music much untill he began working with Prince!!He played some songs from his new CD Made By Maceo though!!

He played a funked up lyric-less "Baby Knows" and "Pass The Peas" and also such standards as "Georgia On My Mind". Please forgive me if eye cant give a concise track listing, but my head is still numb and spinning!!

It took a while for the audience 2 get up and rock, but after some coaxing from Maceo, the crowd just wouldnt sit down after that!!!

Maceos son, Cory, brought a whole new meaning 2 rap!! He has style, class and is downright sexy, as 2 is Morris Hayes!! It was so weird seeing him up there, when u think that he used 2 b part of the NPG untill a few short years ago!!

Afterwards was really cool, with Morris, Cory and Maceo signing autographs in the concession lounge!! I had a really long conversation with Morris Hayes and he just couldnt beleive that I used 2 live in Minneapolis and had been 2 Paisley Park a few times and knew every inch of Minneapolis St. Paul and we spoke like old freinds!! He told me that he had a long conversation with Prince just before he left for this tour!!

All in all, It was a very wild, funky, jazzy evening and I just couldnt believe all this was happening in Poole, right next door 2 me virtually!!

P.S. U almost half expected Prince 2 walk out on stage!! Mainly because of Greg Boyer, Maceo and Morris Hayes!!

It was almost a Prince show but without Prince!!
