Why is the Sheila E 3rd July Jazz Cafe thread broken Sorry for the long title, but for some reason can't add anymore replies to that message..!

I LOVED it... It's just such a shame the stage isn't bigger so we could all get a good view of it! It all felt a bit crazy as I was too excited..

The show was excellent, I arrived about 8 and couldn't get anywhere near the front. The set was good with a few new ones I'm not familiar with. Loved the crowd last night and loved the impromptu jamming as well. What did you think of the new Sheila/ Prince track? | |

I preferred it when it was called "Smooth" by Santana. And the 2nd new track sounded the same. | |

It was a great show. It was absolutely packed in there. I go to a lot of gigs at Jazz Cafe and the place was rammed and atmosphere was fantastic! Sheila was really sweet giving out signed things to the audience and also shaking our hands while negotiating the tiny stage and even called some of us up for a mid song boogie which was hilarious as the stage is so small and adding another line of people to the already over capacity stage was crazy, but great fun!
Before the band went off stage before the encore, Sheila had done a slowed down version of the Edward Lear Table and the chair rap and then we all 'Oh wee oh, woaaaah' chant to get them back on stage. When they came back Sheila launched in to the rap again in full speed and we all just generally jumped around with glee!

Wow it was amazing and went by like a blur. Yeah I think they deviated from the planned set list a little.
The energy was there from start to finnish. She really is the best drummer I've ever seen live | |

This. She certainly is, What a fab gig. I went to some Jack White gig a few weeks back and to me he's is god like genius. Well she was better than him! thats how good it was. Hope she comes back to London very soon.
