it took her YEARS to heal from all the pain she went through from her relationship/break-up with Prince.

Jeez, it's about time people move on, this is so borin. Both have moved on and it's romanticized here as if they've just fallen in love. I don't feel sorry for this anymore after watching this reality nonsense tv. It's lame, old and lame!

They story isn't even a great love story at that, so I don't see why people make it out to be the love story of all love stories. Shoot, when you think about it, Bria has known Prince just as long as Mayte just saying. Of course they loved each other and in P's case he loved a lot of women around that time as well

I have not watched the show and don't plan on it. Premise makes no sense

I'd think it's the nostalgia, tho I agree I'd have loved them to be together forever, cause I think they made a great couple, but they seem to be so over this, it's only the fans that aren't.

If Prince was shocked about what she said to him, why shouldn't we?

Really??? Seems weird. On the show tonight she made it sound like she hasn't seen or talked to him since he dropped her and her bag off at the Greyhound.

you guys are actually watching this show? WOW!! I guess its just me but I have no desire to watch that show. I do like Mayte but reality TV....

Mayte dosen't want Prince.If you look at monday's episode of h.w. When Will's exe talk about always loving Will Mayte didn't say word about still having a special place in her heart for him.I use to be so obsessed with her and prince.But it's clear they both have moved on.I think Mayte wants a rich man who can give her the good life .I understand I married really well.But I think we must let this dream of them being together die.

Seems to me him and Susannah are a greater love story as she was an influence in his life for a lot longer than Mayte was.

I watched the show, it is interesting and very different from the angry wives reality shows that are out there.

One thing though, Mayte is not over him yet, at least not from what I can see, but she does need to cleanse that man from her life.

I agree. I don't think she has gotten over the Prince from the 90's. I don't think she wants the Prince of today. i think they have little in common. But the dude she fell for.... she still loves THAT Prince.

You can tell, it is written all over her face when she talks about her marriage.

I also notice when she was talking about things with Andrea that she has let go a lot of the negative energy that came from that whole period in her life.

She said she was out on the beach most likely crying and she decided she was tired of feeling sad and tired of feeling angry.

I think this is how she is able to be friendly with Mani, and go see Prince in concert and call him to clear the air between them.

She has come to accept that "life happens" and move on.

But I believe she feels this way in her head... but the heart, that is another thing.

12 years and she has not had a serious boyfriend other than the rebound man.

I do believe she is trying, because she wants to have a baby and her time is growing short.

Sometimes in order to move on, you have to put everything on the table. Expose your secrets and your feelings and take the scrutiny and chastisement in order to sort of get shamed or embarrassed enough to "snap out of it" or move on.

Like when an addict gets in front of the whole world and say my name is Jane Doe and I am an addict.

You stand there and take the judgment of others because accepting the judgment is part of the healing process.

I think this show is not only to get her name out for acting purposes, but also baring her soul about her time in Purpledom is also catharsis for her to attain her other goal in life... to be a mother.

I hope things work out for her. Because just like women who have met and interacted personally with Mayte (the other ex wives) have noticed. It is plain to see that Mayte really want a baby and would be a caring and nurturing mom.

Let's be honest if Mayte really wants a baby their are ways for her to do it without a man.Like i said before.I see her out in encino a lot trust me she has had other boyfriends.

I don't doubt that she has dated... she has said as much.

Just because you have dinner with someone does not mean that person has replaced in your heart the memory of a old love.

She has said she is looking for LOVE, not a date.

And as far as having a baby without an involved man, it is true it is possible... but some women have moral or religious convictions that would conflict with going to a sperm bank to reproduce.

Like I have said before, I noticed Mayte has a cross hanging on the wall in her house. I get the feeling that she is either religious or spiritual. Her mother definitely is. I believe her mother prays the rosary.

So I believe that if there is another way to have a baby other than going to the sperm bank, Mayte will try that.

Even Halle, when she was ready to have a baby she found a man. Things would be less complicated if she went to the sperm bank.... she had to know she was taking a risk... yet she still went that route.

I'm not saying she dosen't have the right to wait for a man if she wishes.What I don't like is the way the show makes her look.The show makes it seem liked she hasn't moved on.All i'm saying is she does go out.She's not pining away for him.The show makes all the ladies except for nicole look like there suck in the past.

You're right.Iforgot Jesscia got remarried.I hope the ladies don't do another season.If so I hope next season they don't talk about their exes at all.
