I noticed Shelby had lost a lot of weight .But didn't know she was ripped like this! She looks great. Now her & Prince our both in good shape...

So the constant 'put your hands up' was a workout chant after all - who would've thunk it

If you've ever seen her in person, she's never (even back to 2007) been what I would call heavy. I don't know what her size is now, but back when I saw her (very up close in Vegas), she was maybe a size 10 or 12 - and she's not short.

That she looks heavy, at all, is more a matter of the awful costumes Prince puts her in. Stuff like that white outfit she had on for the Super Bowl does her absolutely no favors.

Being a personal trainer, I run into women like Shelby all the time. A lot of the other trainers I know jokingly call it "buffalo chick" syndrome. Women who carry a good deal of muscle (especially around the neck and shoulders) tend to look good with their clothes off, but look sort of awkward and torso heavy with their clothes on. Girls who have thickly muscled shoulders always need to wear something that accentuates their smaller waist, and if they don't they can end up looking VERY overweight.

Furthermore, Shelby needs some hair (I love stating the obvious lol). Grown naturally or a wig, If she had a big head of hiar, it would offset the size of her shoulders and waist, and make her appear more petite. She could also stand to do less weights and more cardio. As is right now, the combination of bad hair and bad outfits is really making her look like a fatty.

Last time I saw her up close was in 2008 at the Gansevoort in NYC, when Prince performed at a charity event, and did 2 shows that day. I attended the 2nd show, in the evening. Shelby did not appear heavy in weight at all, but average weight I would say for her height, which was about 5'5" with heels on. After the show, she was exiting the same entrance as those who attended the late night concert, and when I noticed her walking behind me, I turned around, greeted her and gave her a hug and told her I enjoyed the concert. Of course she wouldn't remember me, if she saw me today, as I was just another fan paying compliments to her for a good concert performance. She definitely wasn't what you would call heavy in weight at all. Also, before she decided to shave her hair off, she did wear her hair in a nice braided hairdo, but if she is content and at peace with how she chooses to wear her hair now, then so be it, it's her choice, and I admire her for doing what makes her happy, not what someone else 'thinks' she should wear her hair or how she should dress.

I see so many other, especially younger females, under 21 extremely overweight for their size, which is a shame, and I have to say that Shelby looks great and fit in that pic.
