Lol. A couple of months ago I was watching old episodes of 'Room 227' which starred Regina King and Jackee Harry, and Morris Day, happened to be on that episode. I was laughing at how young and thin he was back then, playing the player as usual in that episode.

^ I hadn't seen 227 since the 80s. I wonder if Morris got a kick out of playing a "Prince".

Morris was a decent actor. He could have had a succesful career in that arena had he not been typecast.

Yeah, like a Director would cast Morris over Eddie Murphy, Laurence Fishburne or even Carl Weathers!!?? Morris Day as Action Jackson? Here however is a pitch that may have worked. Jamaa Fanaka (rip) directs Morris and Mr T in Penitentiary 4: Don't call me Camille bitch. Morris gets in a fight with Prince over who gives the best head, Vanity or Appollonia. Prince gets a real beating and Morris is arrested and sent to prison. He joins the prison boxing team to establish his dominance over the prisons toughest inmate, Mr T. How dya like them apples?

I would have loved to see Morris play opposite of Jackie Chan in Rush Hour instead of Chris Tucker.
