... kinda reminds me of Linda Lee-Caldwell said about Bruce Lee and how she was her FIRST. Mayte ( if I'm correct ) was P's first so yeah she may hold that position with P. Broke my heart when I heard / read they broke up and 'annulled' the marriage. I was a new admirerer of P's art back then. I may catch one or two shows. I just don't wanna see / hear her BASH my musical hero is all.

I'd bet that losing the child was hell on her and P.

Mayte is an associated, I can't figure how Mani contributed directly to the art) of an associated artist and was in one of the most bad ass bands ever NPG 92-94.

Maybe she means that the other ladies still got plenty of money in the form of child support (legally, child support is supposed to be enough so that the child/ren can maintain the same lifestyle), and still had some relationship with their exes, albeit altered. With Mayte it went from completely sheltered and pampered to completely on her own.

I am with you, you can tell that if she did not have the confidentiality agreement she would be talking up a storm, because that is all she has. I don't feel sorry for any of them (not even Andrea and to me her story is worse) cuz all of these men showed them their true colors b4 they got married, so please.

Mayte will always be the women who divorced Prince, then ended up tapping Tommy Lee's ass. That's like going from a Bugatti Veyron to the Scooby Doo Mystery Machine.

It does show just how iconic Prince is (or perhaps how unremarkable the ladies are). Monica Lewinski will never go down in bios and history books as anything more than the woman who sucked a mean Presidential dick.

I've seen all of the shows she appeared on and she is not that great of an actress and we all know that singing is not her thing. And there are way better dancers in the H'wood, but hey that's H'wood

That's why I suspect Prince must be rolling his eyes at this reality show. I don't have any sympathy for these women because they got paid hansomely in divorce settlements and alimony and had a chance to parlay their association with their exes into something more substantive and waited til VH1 came knocking on their doors to do their own version of Basketball Wives. But like Prince said "what is fame, when everybody wants to be famous?"

If you are a male celebrity and you are considering getting married, let these shows be a cautionary tale on loose lips.

This goes for male gold diggers as well. It's a shame that you have to worry about the person you are married too selling you down the river, how can you ever be yourself in these type of relationships.
