Is it just me or Does TYKA NELSON's VOICE Outshine Is it just me or does Tyka Nelson's voice outshine all of Prince's proteges' voices?
I was listening to some of her stuff on youtube, and her voice is just lovely. Even on songs, in styles that I don't normally care for, I found her voice really lovely, and the songs well executed?
It must run in the family.

I loved "Royal Blue" (the whole lp), but I wasn't crazy about the 2nd disc "Yellow Moon, Red Sky", and I haven't heard the 3rd "A Brand New Me" yet. I do like her voice, it's pleasant enough. She's not a powerhouse singer, but for her material it works well enough. "L.O.V.E" was my jam! Especially the 12" dance mix! If it breaks when it bends, U better not put it in! | |
