Jesse Johnson posted this good-bye note on facebook a few minutes ago (good-bye, but there will be more to come):

So dig loved ones , this will be my last FB Post for a while. For I'm about to forgo the undertaking of recording my "Latest and hopefully Greatest", but no worries, because you'll see this summer performing with D'Angelo. Plus you'll see me in a venue, in a city near you playing with myself...er...I mean...playing...with...my own...a..performing...damnit you know what I mean.
(Stop laughing, I'm nervous)

Everyone has been so wonderfully gracious and respectful to each other, even through arguing and disagreeing, but yet still peacefully resolving to fact that we don't have to hate or become angry simply because we are different people with varied life experiences as well as opinions, yes they are still just our person opinions. (none of us was alive in 68BC or 1923 AD...I..don't...think...? And if any of you posting were....DAMN!)

I hope you will remain my friends and allow me to setup something private so I can FREELY SHARE, yes as in for FREE, what's most dearest to me, my music and my life experiences. I promise I will keep my word to you and delivery on this promise. It just has to be done selectively and secretly. Let's just say: I'll be setting up our family plan and there will be no posting or sharing outside the family.

Because trust is earned and not a privilege, there will be a third party doing the vetting to see if you are really who you say you are. If this discourages you, I overstand, but being a member of our family (yours & mine) will give direct access to me by way of telephone and person email. So I hope you can understand my point of view. (or paranoia-tee)

I will not care if it's 50 family members or 50,000 members! What I'm talking about has nothing to do with numbers or money. It has everything to do with love and respect for the game and one another. Where we share new musics, discus any subject matter, and irregardless of the out come, RESPECT must be maintained.

The only negative I can think of will be the selection process. All will be welcomed, but if you are a meanie/bully/Internet muscles/ e-gangster, or whatever, you will have to go! With that said; PLEASE WAIT FOR COMING INFORMATION

The TSA stories were so funny and hilarious. Y'all had me laughing so damn hard! It is so cool that we all found levity in so what heavier. We argued/debated, gay marriage, organized religion, politics, music, children, stupidity, mean people (TSA (Trouble Starting Ass****s) my HA 2 your HEE.

i always wanted prince and jesse 2 do a album 2gether. i think jesse carries himself like prince in alot of ways and i think they could cut a killer album

I know right..."e-gangsters" Had never heard of that before.

And the story about him pissing Prince off during Graffiti Bridge, I'd like to think that it was hard not trying to die laughing in EVERY scene of that awful movie. I wonder how many times Prince has had to give Jesse the side-eye.

One question though, why do we need Jesse's phone number?

He can't even cancel his Facebook without trying to keep us interested with a supposed Prince behind-the-scenes Prince story that's TOTALLY NOT a lie, because afterall he swears it's true. Nobody's checking for you Jesse.

Apparently some folks are in such a way that he's going to be setting up a background check investigation on folks who want to join his "next" online venture in order to hear his funny stories and spontaneous rants.

Maybe this is why he wants us to have his phone number...to give him more reasons for his outlandish, hilarious rants. So yeah I agree, it's an attention thing.

If he really wanted to piss fans off, he would not only do the background checks, but charge $77 to become a member and then secretly charge the fans again a whole year later.

A few days before he shut it down, he had a hilarious story about going through airports

and having to be searched with creeps patting you down and touching your junk. He also

talked about going in restrooms behind people on the plane after they left a stink.

Jesse doesn't come off this way in the dvd or concerts. He appears very reserved. I know the written word is different forom 'live' but damn lol.

I'm thinking his internet banter is his other character...
