Tamar Davis co-starring in Tyler Perry's "Madea Gets A Job" I don't know if this has been discussed, but Tamar is currently touring in Tyler Perry's latest play, "Madea Gets A Job." I had a chance to see it this past weekend in Dallas. I LOVED hearing her sing in the play. She is a really good singer and deserves more success than she currently has (I think so anyway).
Also in the play is Cheryl Pepsi Riley ("Thanks For My Child.")

She is in the play, not the movie.
This is not her first Tyler Perry play. She did his Christmas play, and "Laugh to Keep From Crying." Like him or not, I've heard Tyler pays well, so if she's making a decent living doing something she loves, good for her.
