I wanted to buy "The Stick" off iTunes last night, no luck. Amazon.com had mp3s of all the album tracks, except "The Stick". Amazon has The Time CD available, but I'm not sure if the CD has all the tracks. The song isn't available to listen to on Spotify either.

Is there a reason why "The Stick" isn't available for digital download? Is it a copyright or money issue? I'm puzzled by the exclusion.

Wondering if any of my fellow ORGers would have any answers.

The Time - The Time CD on Amazon has all the tracks, including "The Stick". And, It's only $6.49.

Chances are, any tracks available on iTunes were ripped from the CD version of this album, so, just get the CD and rip it yourself. It's just over a buck a song and you'd have the actual CD as a backup copy, or, if you don't collect CDs, rip it and sell it, get most of your money back. Problem solved...

Thunderfunk is right, that's basically what I did.

I think I even got the cd (along with a few Prince cds) for free from one of those mail-order CD clubs...just rip it and then put it on your iPod/phone/whatever.

I noticed before that "The Stick" was missing from the digital version of the album that's on Spotify and Amazon. But since I already own the CD and have my own rip of it, I wasn't bothered.

It is strange though. Probably just an oversight from the WB digital department.
