Recent Protege ROUNDUP OK, so Prince has had a few proteges of questionable talent since Tamar.
Anyways,
There's Bria Valente, who is long overdue to followup her dreadful debut album with a sophmore effort, no?
Then there's who? I know the twins wanted to do something in music, right? Who about that ballet dancer chic or whatever.
I'm confused about who was doing what or where they went.
I know they're just distractions, but considering how lackluster 20Ten was and how undewhelming Andy Allow's voice is, I'm begging for distractions.

I think it's almost fair to say that the interest of his proteges today , just is'nt there : People have a hard enough time trying to stay interested in Prince's music let alone his protege's :
Would really love to see him put something out that is ground-breaking and very very good : I miss Prince , but like most here at the org , I support him anyways because I know one day he will make that record that everyone will remember and consider classic :
" He's All Black, He's All White, Everybody's Gotta Jam 2Nite, Limouzine ".

Do you really think this will be the case?
I'm hoping so, because it would be a waste of a legacy, really. I mean, the Gold Experience was worthy of praise, but it went completely unnoticed.
And as flawd as Lotusflow3r was, it should have gotten more attention.
Prince could notch albums like those up just a couple and have a purely genius album, but would anyone notice?

I like the twinz, they are trying to do music right now, will it go anywhere, prob not, but kudos
I liked Tamar, did she have that wow factor, no, but she has a nice voice,
Like I have mentioned b4, I still don't get the Bria hate on the org, but then again I wasn't around back then when she was Org stalking, Her voice is not that horrid, at least not on the album, since we never heard her sing live, can't really rule her out. Will she ever reach super stardom, No, but I can say one thing for her she has never publically bashed/criticized Prince the way that other ex-gf/associates have once the gravy train has ended.
As for Misty the ballet dancer, I think her career is in a very good place right now, due to HER talent, P just helped her shine a little bit more outside of the ballet world.
As for Miss Allo, even though at times it may seem like Andy hate, it really isn't. I was a fan, and maybe I still am, but she definitely didn't stay true to herself and decided to go down that Protege lane, which never ends very well. If she is in fact his g/f then kudos to them (age ain't nothing but a number), but musically, Prince match, definitely not. But hey maybe she will show us what she has learned from P, while they are in OZ
I mean all and all, can they/should they complain, No, cuz people in different parts of the world know who they are cuz of P, so not a bad deal and if they can capitalize on it, kudos 2 them

Yes, Misty is a principal dancer for a new production of "The Firebird" ballet, it's a big deal. She's also started a line of dancewear for curvier dancers. But I noticed in the L.A. Times article for the "Firebird," it mentions that she's a renowned prima ballerina, and had starred in a Prince video and toured with him, this is notable for a ballerina (for any dancer) and raises her profile and cache. It was nice of him to shine a light on her. But yes, she's a talent in her own right.

I think Milk & Honey is like a million times better than Elixir it's not even funny. And, it's still just a so-so album.
I find Andy's voice sounds to me like Nora Jones if Nora were trying to wake up out of a coma.

Once again, you manage to be absolutely hilarious AND absolutely correct at the same time! I guess it's easier to do that if you're commenting on Princeworld, since there's all sorts of ridiculousness to comment on where deadly accurate observations are also comical. You have a knack for it.

Thank you, thank you. But, Prince and family provide the material. I just report it.
