Speaking of Terry Lewis.
Why is he the silent one out of J&L ? Out of all the Janet documentaries i've seen ( and i've seen A LOT) he never speaks or has one word answers. Surely he has something to say on one of the most successful musical partnerships of all time.
And more recently i saw him speak on another artist the duo has worked with (not sure i can remember who is was) and it was the most i heard Terry say ever! So he obviously isn't media shy.
I can't possibly think Terry and Janet don't get along - but I find it really strange. |

i was in the studio with him once and come to think of it he hardly said a word in hours. even when asked a question it was short replies. it must just be his personality and he communicates better through music and other ways |

In interviews, Terry is never silent, he's just as vocal as Jimmy Jam is. |

I don't believe that. Can you please provide me with examples JL speaking about his partnership with Janet? |

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton |

U reckon? I imagine him to be the contrary when working in the studio. I'm sure he goes psychic after a while, like transcending to some level, and just responding to any damn thing with this sound samples. He's surely a hardworking and focused guy. I doubt he'll get distracted and waffle 4 hours. Prince I will always miss and love U. |

when literally recording tracks maybe, but he doesn't spend every minute in the studio recording. there are all sorts of things to do in paisley |
