And I'm sure she feels disrespected as she WAS a part of something HUGE and she did a great job on her part as being part of all of that and now it's 2012 and like you said, he has no clue probably who she is and probably wouldn't care anyway. That would offend the hell out of me too, if I were her. Imo, almost anyone affliated with Prince, Madonna, Michael Jackson, any of them in their heyday were way more important than any of the silly shit of today (can't stand Maroon 5 or any of that bs- but I digress...) anyway, you just have to be careful because there are cameras on everything and it can be edited to make you look a mess. (like if you only show one side)

Exactly : Especially if the security is in his 20's . Might not even heard of the Sign Of The Time era or even seen the videos or mini movie : Fishbone or whoever should've made sure to leave her name at the door , so she would not have had this problem : and I could be wrong , Cat does'nt look like the Cat she did years ago . Funny how people say stuff when they don't know the person in question. Or even think that she just turned up expecting to get in with out a ticket. Passing judgement without knowing what they are talking about. There shouldn't have been a problem but there was. Cat has been a friend of Fishbone for 28 years. Fishbone weren't happy about what happened and it shouldn't have happened but insult some one they will only be pushed so far, Cat kicked off. Got nothing to do with acting like a diva or drugs...some people don't know what they are talking about. At all.

He was doing his job. That is what professionals do. His job is not to argue with people on the street. It matters not that they "used to dance with Prince." If you ain't on the list, you ain't getting in. I am just glad it ended the way it did. Often times we see things like this escalate into violence. Nothing hurt but feelings, all is forgotten in the morning....Except on the Org.

I have friends who are in the same kind of business and you have to take everything into consideration. I bet Cat herself would´ve hated it back in the day if random folks would´ve been let in backstage without being on the guest list.
