High Fashion! Andy Allo is featured in the April 2012 issue of Vogue and we are told it is the highlight of the magazine!

According to our friends at Afrolistas&TheCity, they spotted Andy in the index section of the latest Vogue and said they she was the only thing about the magazine worth mentioning. They love her style, her music, her beauty and her afro.

Andy Allo is getting set to release her new CD "Superconductor" and if you haven't already, you can listen to "People Pleaser" HERE!!!!

To hold you over, here is Miss Allo performing "Conclusions" in San Jose in 2011. We have a feeling Afrolistas&TheCity will be digging the song...and her 'fro.-DocFB"

Yeah such a shame really, she's so desperate. I'd have more respect for her if she had not given in easily on Prince, and be more focused on one thing, but she's wants to do everything while being nothing. Those old stories keep repeating itself, and I wonder who the target for all this is? Prince fans?!

Desperate for what, exactly? The girl is working. If she wasn't doing anything, people like you would say she's just trying to ride on Prince's coattails.

Being nothing? She's enough of something that people worry about what they think she's doing, or not doing.

I'm sure she has not lost any sleep worrying about whether or not YOU respect her.

Eh? Fans are targeted as her being the next big funk thing. I can't really recall in Prince history that somebody with an overall output like hers has been very successful in musical terms. I'm just pointing out to this and to the fact that hopefully I will not have to see her perform again with Prince.

What's a shame? Maybe taking the time to do some research regarding her career, as much time as you spend being 'bitter Betty' about her and making all kinds of nasty and fantasized assumptions, regarding her association with, and as a new member of the NPG, you would know that she had a career in modeling, acting, a musician/artist, with her own fan base long before she became a member of the NPG. To assume 'she gave in so easily on Prince', well, how would you or any of us know that? None of us were in the room when Prince hired her as a member of his band, so unless you had a personal conversation with her or Prince on that, then none of your assumptions or accusations really have any validity. Besides, I don't see anyone here forcing you to buy, like her music or be a fan of hers, but you come off like she stole the only slice of bread off your kitchen table. Geez...chill..

I don't care about her previous career, it's already enough I see snippets of her songs on here manufactured as Prince news. This is boring as shit. I'll turn to a monster the day her album is released instead of his that we been waitin 4. Sumthin chunky is coming soon. U wait!

Come on OzlemUcucu, you do care about news posted about her, because if you already feel that news or snippets of her music is boring, you wouldn't take the time to click on news posted about her or listen to snippets of her music, as well as, dedicate much of your time making all those fantasized assumptions and accusations of her. I like Andy, I'm just not that crazy on her doing her own spin on Prince songs. I really enjoy her music and I think she has a great sultry voice! Shoot, I know if I ever got the opportunity to do something for VOGUE, there's no way I would turn that down! Even though I see her with Prince and the possibility of them being a couple makes me completely and utterly JEALOUS, I say all the power to her and keep doing her thing

Very, very, very true. Andy knows very well, that her career as a Prince protegee is depending on Prince fans who got to know her while touring with Prince and now while working with him. She already has a fanbase, but if she wants more fans she must rely on us, Prince fans. And if the Prince fan community is not appreciating her the way expected, she is in a alot of trouble careerwise and she may very well loose sleeps worrying about it. It is not one single person I am talking about, but a fan community.

I think that anyone here who seems to argue with everyone who is expressing his honest and objective opinion should take his time, even if it just for a few minutes, to listen to what others are saying. If you are trying to support Andy by bashing everyone who is disagreeing with you, calling them haters and immature, you are not helping her. You will not convince people to buy her CD. And please don't even try to convince me that Prince doesn't give a sh*t about what his fans think about his current whereabouts, because I am not buying it.

All I am saying is, you are trying too hard and I think you should lay off and think about what would really help Andy Allo in the future.

I wouldn't think she is returning to her "day" job. I think this is a very well planned tactic. Andy and Prince probably sent that photo into Vogue, along with Andy's press kit, with the little snippet of "Superconductor" in it. And Vouge magazine had a good reason to publish her photos since Andy has a cute smile and great look for commercial modeling, not to mention her natural hair. Lately it is very trendy for Black women to wear their hair Natural and Andy has always been following that trend. She has a nice smile and she is very pretty, I used to find her a beautiful young lady until Prince "Princified" her.
