I just got the Revolution's autographs at the meet and greet for the First Ave gig. I had them sign my Purple Rain tourbook. Brownmark was like "wow...I don't look like that anymore".

I got the original NPG's autographs at the Controversy convention at Glam Slam in 1992 and I had them sign the Diamonds and Pearls tourbook.

Mayte and Carmen were also at the convention. I had Carmen sign a 8X10 and Mayte and Morris signed a SexyMF poster with Troy Beyer on it.

I got Rosie Gaines by meeting her and Frances at Glam Slam and they invited me and a friend out to Paisley Park while she was recording her Paisley Park album (which we all know never got released ). We went out there a few times the last week of Dec 92. Great time! She sat at the piano and played whatever we wanted to hear. Another night I brought out my bootleg video of the Nude Tokyo 90 show and she was floored that I had it. She had a worker go get a tv and vcr and we sat in the atrium and watched it. She said that they had no access to anything like that. Kind of weird sitting in Paisley Park and watching a bootleg video at the time.

I got the Family's (fDeluxe if you want to call them that) at their show last September in Minneapolis.

I got Mavis Staples autograph at the NPG store in Minneapolis. She had done a show the night before at Glam Slam. Funny little story about that night. My friend and I parked in the ramp across from Glam Slam and rode down in the elevator with this woman. She was like where are you guys going (we were dressed up). I told her to see Mavis Staples. She was like cool. After the concert she came up to me and was like, "How did you like it'? I was so embarassed because it was Jevetta Steele (I didn't recognize her in the elevator).

Everyone was really gracious, except maybe Tony M. He really thought he was something!

I only have autographs from

Michael B. (met him twice in 1992 & 1993 before concerts in cologne and Wildenrath)

Morris Hayes (after the aftershow concert 1998 in cologne at Live Music Hall)

I also ran into Jerome Benton before a concert of The Time in cologne, but he didn't sign anything. He was just there smiling and joking around.

got autographs in 1987, Cat, Eric Leeds, Dayle Alexander, Matt Bliston, Greg Brook etc and in 1988 from the whole band including Prince,after that, I never needed anymore (but got some nevertheless).

Also have a signed Vanity 6 album

I have Sheila E's and Vanity's (Denise Matthews).

Did you know the Time were at Mall of America the night before the Nov. 11 show? I was going to go out there and get their's, but decided against it. Someone just posted some pics on their facebook at the signing. Cool stuff!

I got the Family's on the little photo booklet they were selling.

I never did get Prince's. I had many opportunities to ask him, but I knew that it was kind of a no no so I never did. I was able to take a photograph of him in the parking lot of the old Rosemont Horizon prior to a Lovesexy show (without Gilbert ripping the camera out of my hand). That's probably my most prized Prince possession. That and a black tambourine he handed me at a small birthday party for Mayte's 21st.

That's the one. I happened to be friends with her booking agent and he introduced us. She signed it and gave me the poster then I got all of the NPG to sign it (except Levi & Prince) at a Sam Goody signing in Manhattan.

Lol I have a signed copy of the LoveSexy Tour book which I purchased from an ex roadie many years ago which has Prince signed twice as love god, p 88' and again as Prince apprantley because no one would recognise just the "P", it has other members of the band too. Sadly I was only 6 years old in 1988.
