V6- He's so dull ?

I'm curious to know if there's a story behind the ending of He's so dull by Vanity 6. The part where it sounds like someone is fighting or falling down a flight of stairs. Even though i dig the ending i always thought it was an odd way to end that particular song.

Rest in Peace Bettie Boo. See u soon.

The same thing is on this record from 1983. It's around 0:15.

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

Honestly never heard that Terry Lewis & Wild Flower thing before!

I know I've read a lot of people asking about this over the years saying it says things like "boxes I have boxes" or "glasses, I have glasses" lol

I think it was taken from The People's Message and inserted in the Vanity 6 song. It kind of makes sense with rest of the dialogue in the intro of the song, but doesn't in He's So Dull.

hmmm but isn't that People's Message song from 1983? The Vanity 6 album was released in August 1982.

^^One of my mom's cousins had sound effects records from the 1960's & 1970's, but I didn't know what they were for since there were no sampling machines during that time. At the time I had no idea why someone would want to listen to a washing machine, a motor starting, or a blender. lol
