Sheila E. playing timbales on the Oscars tonight

Just saw Sheila playing with Pharrell Williams on drums. Unexpected treat!

On the red carpet, unfortunately, he looked at all of her 53 year... sad

I think it was a mistake to wear so much open dress...

This dress is very beautiful, Sheila - by itself - too, but together they do not mix... IMO, in the dress in which she played the timbales she looks awesome...

I think she looks fine. The ensemble is absolutely appropriate for a woman of her age and physical shape on the red carpet for the Oscars. She looks fantastic in my book. Strapless looks are not new for the Academy Awards, and not for artists in her age range, either. shrug
