They should do one on The Time/Original 7ven, especiall with the reunion, band name change, and Jesse leaving the band. They could go into more detail than what's on the "Condensate" DVD.

Part of me thinks Vanity/Denise would do the show, probably seeing it as means to share her religious testimony with a wide audience. She's discussed her past in the interviews, in a "this is who I was and this is who I am now thanks to God" way. Glad she's found peace in her life.

I have a feeling Prince will dig up those "confidentiality agreements" and sic the lawyers on W & L. Seriously, isn't there a statute of limitations on such agreements? They haven't been his employees in over 25 years.

If you look at the general pool and criteria of people featured on Unsung, he others really didn't have enough of a lasting impact on music for me. Doesn't mean that any of them are any less of a musician, but the breadth and scope of their careers just don't meet the bar that the other Unsung Artists did.

I thought they did The Time/Original 7 already? or was that something different?

I would have to agree with this post, other then The Time and Sheila E none of the others careers have withstood the test of time or prince.

How ever, i definitely could see Vanity/Denise having an Unsung Episode. She was definitely doing her thang in the 80's with and after Prince (I loved The Last Dragon/Action Jackson) and then lost it all to drugs/inner demons. Classic Unsung criteria.

That would be awesome and i would have loved to hear the songs jesse,jam&lewis were working on with Vanity's 3rd solo CD.....I bet it would have been HELLA FUNKY & SEXY all rolled into ONE! She spoke of that on an appearance on MTV in 88 performing Undress being interviewed by Down Town Julie Brown!!!!! Vanity would be SUPERB for Unsung!!!
