I'm not sure if there are even 100 people who regularly participate on prince.org anymore. A lot of fans I met at the concert have given up on this site because there is a lot of negativity and Prince hasn't released a new album in more than a year (actually three years in the U.S.). However, my wife has a Facebook account and she "liked" all those pages. I'm definitely rooting for a Revolution tour!

The Census Bureau estimates that there are 2,518 American Indians and Alaska Natives currently living in the city of Long Beach.

He was just on tour! No album release doesn't explain why there is low rate of users on the board.

Prince I will always miss and love U.

You consider Welcome 2 America a tour? It was a series of residencies on the East and West Coasts. He hasn't been on a real U.S. tour since Musicology in 2004.

About the Revolution hoping to tour, could only wish them well, but I don't think you've been keeping up with all the shows/tv appearances Prince has done since the Musicology tour. He’s been busy for the past 8 years since the Musicology tour. I don’t see how you missed a chance on attending many of the shows which were open to the public since 2004. He’s made himself available to fans every year since 2004 through 2011 so far.

1) In 2005, Prince promoted/toured with Tamar throughout various cities in the U.S. while performing as backup guitar player

2) In 2006 performed 2 nights in Vegas at the Empire Club while promoting Tamar

3) Prince's 3121 house parties in LA (late 2005(?)-2006) and performed at other, private events.

4) 2006 – Prince performed at the Good Morning America show in Bryant Park, NYC;then performed a private show for fans of his former NPGMC fan club at Butter Restaurant, NYC

5) 2006/2007 Prince did the '3121' residency in Vegas for 6 months

6) 2007 – performed at Macy’s/Target Center in Minneapolis, and First Avenue Club

7) Toured in Europe sometime in 2008(?) if I'm not mistaken.

8) In 2008 performed at the Gansevoort Hotel (for a charity in which in

9) In 2009 – Performed a show at Paisley Park.

10) 2010/2011 - Prince toured the East Coast with the W2A East Coast tour;in Spring 2011 and donated a portion of the tour money to Educational and Arts program

11) 21 Nights in LA residency during Spring 2011

12) Toured Europe in Summer 2011

13) 2011 - Recently completed Welcome 2 Canada tour.

14) Between 2005 to present - TV and other appearances included. Brit Awards (which included W&L and Sheila E appearing);NAACP Awards ceremony; SNL, American Idol, Jay Leno show, and George Lopez, just to name a few.

Oh I am so on this!

The next stop will be DETROIT!

Just ask Detroiters about the obnoxious lady that had them voting on their cell phones for Janet to perform at the Fox, last year. wink

I knew from the start that I loved you with all my heart.

I still don't think any of this qualifies as a real U.S. tour. My definition of a tour is when you hit all the major cities and some minor ones as he did in 2004. I'm not saying this as a complaint, I'm just pointing it out.

Well, apparently for him it did, as some listed above were billed as a tour, and he made himself available for the past 8 years to fans to see him perform. Not everyone waited around to see if he would come to their city, as not all musicians/artists, even during a major tour, can make it to all major cities, as that may not happen, so many took the opportunity to attend one of his previous tours. Anyway, I guess if Prince and the Revolution did an actual tour together, then I would attend, but not too sure if I would go to see them perform without him as the lead. I do wish the Revolution members well, if touring is what they choose to do in the future.

Just on tour where?

He hasn't done anything in most of the US since 2004. (Vegas, LA and New York don't comprise even a tiny fraction of this country.)

What are you talking about? He's been on tour in other parts too, he has given lots of gig footage (snippets). We are literally overfed with music, but this is not the reason why people don't interact on fanboards anymore. There are other reasons for this.

Yes, and I would wanna see the revolution in my town!

Where? North Carolina? San Francisco? That's still on the coasts. Outside of one gig in Minneapolis in 2009, he hasn't been anywhere in the interior of the United States since 2004. (I don't count the Tamar shows because they weren't Prince shows. And they were back in 2006.)

Hoo, baby - snippets! Gosh, I just wet myself from excitement. #sarcasm

I'm not suggesting that Prince do a big U.S. tour. I'd like to see him again, but I'm much more interested in seeing the Revolution again, with or without him. But Prince's decision to do long residencies in places like Vegas and L.A. instead of a real U.S. tour, together with the current hiatus from new album material, is probably limiting his ability to attract new fans. And I'm not even going to talk about remasters.
