MPLS-Skilled Musician Stanley "CHANCE" Howard releases EP Album

CHANCE Howard has released a 5 track EP simply called "CHANCE", containing 3 Funk-Jams plus 2 ballads, one featuring Candy Dulfer on sax.

Most notable to me is the old-school joint of 'Lets Take Our Time', simple but effective!

Nice to see this Artist still in the business doing music. This EP leaves me hoping for a full album in the near future.

You can purchase his music at cdbaby.com

Chance : Chance

CDBaby liner notes:

I grew up in Pittsburgh PA. I began playing bass at an early age, then graduated to drums, then to keyboards, then to vocals. Learning everything by ear. While in high school, I formed my first band (Qua') and started to write songs. Then I joined my older brother's band (The Fresh Band), and we soon became the tri - state area's Hottest band.
Then I left to pursue my dreams as a writer/ Producer. So I headed to Minneapolis, to hopefully work together with the two hottest producers on the planet...... Grammy Award winning producers, JIMMY JAM and TERRY LEWIS, who are best known for their work with such artists as ALEXANDER O'NEAL and CHERELLE, MINT CONDITION, SOUNDS OF BLACKNESS, and the one and only JANET JACKSON.
After only two weeks of being in Minneapolis, I got my wish! I began working on so many different artists, it was mind blowing, yet very humbling.
In my travels I've been very blessed to be a member of MORRIS DAY and THE TIME, and PRINCE and the NPG. Both at the same time. a gift that has never been given to another musician in that circle.
In 2005 I was asked by my dear friend, saxophonist, CANDY DULFER, who I met on tour with PRINCE in 2004 on the MMUSICOLOGY TOUR, to be a guest on her tour of Europe. We became very close and I have been a member of her band for ever since. And now i have put together a 5 song introduction to my very first cd entitled, what else? "CHANCE"! These five original songs come from somewhere deep in my soul and i really hope you like them. Plus I have a show band that is going to knock your socks off!! The show is called "Chance's Boom Boom Room!"The name speaks for itself. So bring your dancing shoes and be prepared for the "BOOM BOOM ROOM!" Coming to a city near you!
Thanks for reading.
Love, Peace n Chicken Grease!!

I almost thought in that bio of his that he was gonna say that after growing "very close" that he and Candy were in a relationship or some shit. I was about to say, "Fo' real??!?!!"

who knows, maybe there's been some kind of censorship in that bio lol just kidding ... But to be close to Candy is not a bad imagination ....

However, these songs grow on me with each listen. Lets Take Our Time is a sure hit, Shake & U Should Be With Me hot as hell ... I truly hope the full album will follow soon!!!!!

Where's the link to buy/listen? You should've included that in your original post because I can't find his album anywhere on CDBaby. Actually, it's more a case of the word "chance" bringing up too many results on CDBaby.

Indeed Woog. His synth bass skills are funkier than a bag of rotten chicken parts being hurled onstage at the opening act for two Rolling Stones shows in Los Angeles in 1981!!!
