Will Bria open up next tour? I really loved her cd that came out w/ Lotus, and I think it would b great 2 c her live. Does any1 think there's a chance she could open up a Prince gig in 2012? If yes or no - why do U think that?

I wish she would...One would've thought she might have appeared at the NPG Festival seeing she was released via the label. No justice, No peace

I'm pretty sure she's yesterday's news.
Have we even heard of her in connection to Prince since late 2009?

I think Prince should destroy our expectations and his reputation by working with her again, putting out a new cd and letting her tour with him. Maybe it'd destroy the curse of the protegee. Change it one more time..

basiclly brias album was prince's album
he wrote all the songs and played everything
now he has chosen a few faves and is playing them live himself
all this love was AMAZING at the jazz festival
so bria is a wee bit redundent despite the fact she is too too fine

San Jose in 2011 where he sang "Girlfriend" to her. Change it one more time..

It will be as successful as when Carmen opened for him on the D&P tour.

She had a nice voice, he should have put on on background vocals

I was lucky unfortunate to catch the Carmen support slot at my very first Prince show at Earls Court on that tour. Even back then at the height of my excitement at seeing my musical hero for the first time, I can categorically state that she was fucking abysmal. At that point I think her band had been all but replaced with NPG members, but not even that saved us from her 30mins of 100mph shouting. She was like Tony M, only with tits.

Prince is a JW, Bria can only 'open up' for him if they get married. RIP

She was better off doing the background vocals to Planet Earth. I think she's history. Andy Allo is in the game now. If anything she'll last longer since she stands out and she plays an instrument.

It would be both fascinating and wierd to go back to Bria after Andy. I don't think he would do it. I would love to see him return to the days of male stage co-performers, the more mature dancers doing the moves instead of young female go-go dancers. Also the male nstrumentalists are always a treat-Stevie Wonder, Larry Graham, and Maceo Parker. Mature strong female voices go bigger in my circle of friends than young upstarts. Folks are re-discovering the rich tones of Etta James with her passing, which will follow with Chaka Khan and other artists he has worked with in the past. Bria is now more mature, developed and stage hardy. It would be fun to see her back. The Leaf Shall Inherit The Earth.
