no this is what she typed on twitter (you can only use 140 characters) and prince fans were tweeting they were so happy prince let her go? that why i asked to see if this was true

I hope she releases an album soon with Prince's involvement, but with her own personality shining through. From the videos I've seen on YT, she's a pretty unique talent in the Prince camp. Prince can still write a decent song & his instrumental chops are a strong as ever, so his involvement would be great. And if her style comes through, their combination could be excellent.

Ah, got it. Thanks. The full sentence is on FB and gives a different meaning (goodybye to 2011, not goodbye to Prince). So, she will probably be around for a time longer. Off topic, but I've been watching some old Charlie Chaplin cllips today, and can't get over how much Prince (especially in UTCM) reminds me of Chaplin. Uncanny.

I agree that it would be good for them to collaborate on an album for Andy IF he will allow Andy to be herself. However, I must say that I did not enjoy her as part of the NPG. She was not a good fit in my opinion. I did like their duet snippet of Guitar and her rendition of We Can Funk though. I just don't think she has chemistry with the NPG. Although, then again, I don't think this current NPG line-up is all that cohesive anyway.

However vids with her and Prince are still contained on her twitter.

She removed them, but she also did this after the European tour this year, nothing new.

Gotcha. From time to time she removes vids from her fb page. Understood.

from my impression they're (prince & andy) probably done recording her album i think we'll be getting a new album from her as well as prince early this year

Another moderator posted the above. The radio stations had not made them available for download. What part of the above do you not understand??
