I just watched the video and I'm considering throwing out my entire post-1995 Prince collection.

I'm officially done with the Prince and the NPG.

I really wanted to like it. I like this song, I like Andy, she's cute, but the singing is on it is pretty bad. And Prince's keyboard doodling are just as bad, going through the motions adding nothing interesting whatsoever to the tune. But I do like that they are posting things are the Facebook page. Now, this is what he should have always been doing.

I hope someday he finally has a website tended by someone like Andy who cares and posts current pictures, videos and a place to purchase music and tour memorabilia. Nothing fancy, minimal animations, no preaching, politics, personal musings or user comments. It would go great for both him and his fans.

But no official Facebook please!

Prince is not doing Andy any favors by having her do covers of old songs, including his own. She is young and just put out an album not long ago. I checked out some of her stuff on youtube before she joined the tour and I liked some of her original stuff, although not all. He needs to let this young woman develop her own musical legs and not try to recreate her in his own image the way he has done so many times...

I bet Prince thinks her voice is like honey drippin' in his ear! Sweeter than a mf'er!!!

This was very underwhelming. Put together with the fact that no one can seem to hear her guitar when she's "playing" it during a show, it's very difficult to appreciate her talent and contribution. Add the fact that in the "Take Me With U" Prince duet she also posted, Prince doesn't even trust her to sing alone without the backup vocalists (hell even Apollonia could hit those notes), I am just unimpressed overall with this whole Andy Allo thing.

I love when Prince sometimes, is just A Musician, he pleases himself and the audience; A real DJ entertainer
