Tamar If you take the best tracks from Prince's album along with the best from the second album she did with Kwame you'd have one hot album. Kwame put together some really great tracks that really favor her voice in a way that her last attempt didn't really pull off.
I'm not really much of a fan of the sound of the last album, but I'm in favor of her finding a lable to release a combined best of her first two. That'd be the proper debut to mainstream radio that she deserves IMO. The girl can sing, and that year of touring with Prince really gave her a confidence and stage presence that could allow her to develop a loyal touring following a la Ledisi if she would just get over that first hump of getting some radio play. Tamar has a great voice, but damn who knew Kwame was still around I still wonder what made Prince and Tamar stop working together.

Yeah, as a producer he's pretty big. Much bigger than he was as a rapper. He's produced for Mary J, Dru Hill, Will Smith, LL, Lloyd Banks, Christina Aguilera, Pussycat Dolls, Mya, Fantasia. Keysia Cole.. a whole slew of people, and he scores soundtracks and movies and stuff too. Change it one more time..
