I'm starting to like it a lot more. I love the stripped down acoustic style of it.

Love this version...the stripped down acoustic version shows how great this song actually is...

It really is a nice version. Its just very different from the original and conveys a different idea. I like Andy's version; I just try to think of it as a different song in a way. Its like when Maxwell did NIN's "Closer".

Beautiful, I absolutely love it! Good job Andy! She threw in a little Tracy Chapman/Billy Miles vibe singing that track.

On another note, as for the Toronto clip of "Angel" Andy posted also on her FB, well, I love, love, love Shelby, Elisa and Liv singiing "Angel" on that clip. Good job ladies! I'm calling them 'Sweet Harmony' because that's what they bring as a trio. They took me straight to church at mark 5:18 and had me doing the soul clap, and then Prince threw in his scream like he caught the spirit

All 3 ladies did their solo parts well, and my girl Shelby kicked ass at the end of that song, but all the ladies sang beautifully. I tell you when those ladies harmonize together, it's beautiful. Laughed when Prince threw in his little jokes near the end. Seriously, I would pay to see those 3 ladies sing as a trio, if they came to NYC and did their own show, when they're off tour......and I'll bring the tambourine. Love them.

Reminds me of Amy Winehouse because of the whole "I'm singing with my acoustic guitar" style that Amy did. The guitar on it is also kind of like how Amy's sounded. But I think Amy was a much better singer. The guitar on this sounds very nice and emotive though.

Btw, I also felt that "Guitar" was kind of Prince's version of her "Cherry."

She has a very soothing voice. I like this version. If I were Prince, Id have her in my band too. Who cares if she cant play guitar and looks awkward on stage. She is good eye candy!!

I love her voice! Her acoustic guitar playing is so very good too! This was pure bliss, she just has the talent and look, I beg for.

Those eyes, hair, and endless vocals. AHH! I want her! I wish I was with her instead of Prince. Haha..She really is sexy, and the twist she did on this song was PERFECT!

She really adds so much individual feel and flow to this. AMAZING!

Totally agree! I love it! I really did not know Shelby could sing like that! This harmony was just fantastic! Everyone really seemed as if they were in church! Prince said "You going to go home healed when you wake up' I LOVE that church feeling! It was absolutely incredible! I would join you if they toured! They are great!

After listening to that, I had to break out the original FUNK, to wash the stink off. Overall, this version is better performed, but I'm still thinking the track is a big 'ole mess of FAIL. Andy's vocals are as good you can get from her, but Prince's guitar is waaay too damn busy, the lyrics (and title) have errors and MAKE NO SENSE especially coming from a female. Andy sounds like she is being held captive. It's creepy because you don't hear Prince's voice, but yet you can tell he's there by all of the freaking mistakes and bad choices on the track! You can feel him being controlling through his guitar! Then on top of it you can hear her TRYING so HARD to be perfect on a track where the basic idea is RIDDLED WITH ERRORS! But she can't say nothing, because Prince supposedly knows everything. Yeah y'all can hate me for saying it if you want, but to me this track sounds something like listening to someone beat their wife.
