Prince & All Proteges Albums : I know this is a stretch , but just in case I missed a album or two , can someone name every single album put out by Prince and every protege from the For You album by Prince to the latest protege Brenda Bennett Acapella and everything in between , including everything from Warner Bros. to Paisley Park and all the protoges Indie Releases: I'll be the first to admit that I do not own every Prince album as he lost me somewhere around Musicology : Nevertheless I'm interested in all albums and would like to get my own personal catalog up : I know every single Revolution member and Time member have put out a record or two and is interested in knowing all albums and EP's from all proteges past and present . I realize I can google the obvious names such as Sheila E . The Time , Jill Jones , Wendy & Lisa etc . , but there 's members of maybe THE NPG that I'm unfamilair with as far as individual names and maybe members of Sheila E's band etc . The obscure ones : But nevertheless , I'm checking into it : " He's All Black, He's All White, Everybody's Gotta Jam 2Nite, Limouzine ".

Completism is a dangerous thing. I have it for Prince and Sheila and a few other acts, but I think I have it under control for the most part. But when one is buying the CD "Hippity Hop" because Sheila has a remake of "Juba Dis and Juba Dat" on it, one starts to wonder where it's all going to end. | |

That's a good one for most things, but it will only have the Prince-related ones. It doesn't have anything the associates did without any Prince involvement.

Sheila has a pretty thorough and extensive list of all her works on her website; it includes all the albums she has released as well as all the various projects she was involved in. She's done a lot of session work, well after becoming famous. Depending on how far down the rabbit hole you want to go with this, you'll see you have your work cut out for you if you really want to collect everything.... | |
